The Youth – Conversations about things that look like revolutions is a selection of fifteen out of fifty narrative Interviews that tell the personal stories of young Egyptians. In an attempt to define one generation, the publication draws a more versatile picture of the Egyptian society while questioning the romanticized image of a revolutionary youth that is presented by western media. In addition to portrait photographs, four photographic series’, expose the private, stage a feeling of loneliness and reveal a bizarre beauty of places that are essential to the young Cairene.

The Youth was shortlisted for the Lucky Strike Junior Award and published in ID Pure Magazine.
